Many “Pacman” Pacquiao TKO’s Miguel Cotto in the 12th round of their title bout. Though Cotto showed a spark through the first 3 rounds, Pacquiao patiently waited for his opponent to tire and open up more and. Between the flurry of punches, and Manny’s speed, Miguel began to tire and suffer as the fight went deeper into rounds. Many had doubts the Cotto didn’t stand a chance tonight, and even more never expected it to go into “championship rounds”. But as Miguel Cotto, with the pride of a country on his shoulders, he never quite until the referee made the decision for him. After the fight, Cotto said that Manny was one of the greatest fighter out there, and that he would continue to fight.

Now talks of Mayweather, Paquiao has already filled the air with many thinking that this is best challenge that Floyd Mayweather has ever faced. With the impressive defeat of Miguel Cotto, Manny has cleared the path of any doubts the he has what it takes to hand Floyd his first defeat in his decorated career. Time will tell, and the money will make it happen sooner or later. Though we assume that Manny and Floyd will meet next, we have no clue is to what we should look forward to in Cotto’s career. This is the second big ticket fight that he’s lost in a row, with one being filled with controversy.

Manny Paquiao has secured his seventh title in seven different divisions, and not a spot in boxing history as well. At this point, Manny seems unstoppable, bit the icing on the cake will be defeating the talented and dangerous, Floyd Mayweather.
