Las Vegas Shows- Terry Fator
Posted on 05. Jun, 2009 by VegasOnDemand.com in Shows
Terry Fator, winner of “America’s Got Talent,” can amaze people by his ability to impersonate popular entertainers without even moving his lips! This is an amazing show that you will not want to miss when visiting Las Vegas.
Where else can you see a singing turtle, country music singer and Elvis in one show? His shows feature music and comedy that are many times delivered by his eight puppets. Through his puppets, Fator shows us his astonishing abilities and talents that everyone can enjoy! Not only will Fator share his ventriloquist talents, he will also carry out a tune here and there in between his puppets. “I like to do that because after seeing me on TV most people don’t even realize that I can sing,” says Fator.
His show begins with the spotlight on his adorable puppet Emma Taylor with “Emma” singing the Etta James hit, “At Last.” This is the loveable puppet that stole the hearts of everyone on his debut on the “America’s Got Talent” show in 2007.
Another puppet of Fator’s is the feisty cougar, Vikki. She began her career at the Mirage, where the crowd roared with laughter at her sassy sense of humor. She pleased the crowd with her songs from Amy Winehouse and Beyoncé. She has a vibrant personality that leaves you feeling as if you are really watching different people on the show, whereas, in reality, it is just the awesome talent of Terry Fator.
Another favorite puppet of Fator’s is Walter T. Airedale, which is a country music lover that loves the ladies. One of his lines in the show was, “Last time I saw that many beautiful women in Vegas I had to pay a cover charge.” Crowds can’t help but laugh at Walter, including Fator himself!
Fator, born on June 1, 1965 in Mesquite, Texas was a success story. He is one that proves dreams can come true. Despite living life with a critical and judgmental father and dealing with a chronic illness, he never gave up on his dreams. You can learn more in his autobiography, “Who’s The Dummy Now?”
Fator says in an interview one night after the show, “That’s my message to everyone. Never give up. Don’t let somebody tell you what you can and can’t do with your life. What do they know? You’re the one who has your life in your own hands. The amount of work you’re willing to put into something is what you’re going to get out of life.” This just shows the type of person Fator is, and he is an inspiration to everyone!
Not only is he known as “The Million Dollar Voice and The Human Jukebox” because of his appearance and winnings on season 2 of “America’s Got Talent,” but he is known for his sweet sense of humor and loveable personality, as well as his optimism and confidence.
You will enjoy every minute you are in the Terry Fator show! His personality transcends through his puppets. His puppets transform the stage into a spectacular production of comedy and music alike!
