LAS VEGAS (Dec.6, 2012)—Human Nature, Australia’s vocal group sensation, announced today a new headlining residency at The Venetian Las Vegas. The new show, titled Smokey Robinson presents Human Nature: The Motown Show will begin on Saturday, January 19, 2013.
Calling the Las Vegas strip home since 2009, Human Nature came to Las Vegas as the #1 vocal group in Australia and quickly became one of the Las Vegas Strip’s favorite shows. Performing to sold-out audiences regularly, the multi-platinum selling band has brought the classic Motown sound full circle. Human Nature has released nine albums, five of which went to #1 in their native continent, selling millions of records world-wide and garnering 23 platinum awards, 70 Top 40 hits and five Top 10 hits. LAS VEGAS – This summer Jeff Timmons of the band 98 Degrees will debut his new Las Vegas show WIRED at Station Casinos’ Green Valley Ranch Resort. Presented by Jeff Timmons and sponsored by Buzz Buddy, WIRED premiered June 29th, featuring Timmons performing with a live band, plus surprise celebrity guests and rotating musical acts. Featuring a unique blend of today’s hottest dance, hip-hop, Top-40 music, as well as some reminiscent 98 Degrees songs, WIRED will be a live, energetic nightclub experience to jump-start your night in Las Vegas!
Jeff Timmons will perform in WIRED every Friday and Saturday night, beginning June 29 at Ovation inside Green Valley Ranch Resort. LAS VEGAS– Debuting at 7:00 pm Saturday, March 31, at the Plaza Hotel and Casino, “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” will feature two veteran actresses in the lead role.
Jacquelyn Holland-Wright and Kellie Wright will share the acting responsibilities for Miss Mona Stangley, the lead character who runs the brothel in “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.” The part was played by Dolly Parton in the 1982 major motion picture adaption of the Broadway musical.
Holland-Wright is best known for her leading role as Donna Sheridan (the mom) in the Las Vegas production of the Broadway musical “Mamma Mia”. Her long list of credits includes singing in “Jubilee!” and with Wayne Newton in Las Vegas and on his USO Tour. Currently, she has been teaching acting and music at Kidville in Tivoli Village and with Drama Kids International.
The second actress, Wright, has also enjoyed a career in entertainment that has spanned the globe from Australia and Japan to the U.S., singing with bands, performing in production shows and working as a studio session singer. In Las Vegas, she has starred in “Bottoms Up” with Rip Taylor, played Mrs. Vitale in “Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding,” and was a featured singer in “Jubilee!”
This show is based on the true story of the legendary Texas brothel known as the Chicken Ranch, “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” chronicles how the town’s sheriff and regular patron of the brothel fight to keep the historical whorehouse open as a crusading do-gooder television commentator seeks to close its doors. The full production show at the Plaza will take audience members on a trip through history while watching some of the sexiest girls in Las Vegas sing, dance and act.

Lovitz has been one of the world’s most recognizable comedians for almost three decades.
